Why does each division run one after another?
Many players compete in two divisions, like Mixed and Men's Doubles. Running each division at a separate time keeps any one player from having two matches scheduled at once.
We finish one division before the next begins, so the tournament flow stays organized, fair, and easy to follow.
Why do some teams play their games back-to-back?
The elimination round is a round-robin format, so you'll face every team in your pool.
For example, with 6 teams in a pool, each team plays 5 games. Pool games are scheduled close together to keep the tournament on time and let the finals start all at once.
Matches are short — first to 11, about 15 minutes per game. Once your pool games are done, you can rest while you wait for your next scheduled match.
What time does the tournament end?
The finals for all three divisions are scheduled to start at the same time:

Expected awarding time:
- Around 6:45 PM
- Around 7:10 PM if the finals go to Game 3
The venue is available until 8:00 PM, so there's plenty of buffer for awarding, photos, and socials. 📸
How can I see all of my games?
Just type your name into the Player Search in the Season 1 archive.
You'll instantly see all of your:
- Game times
- Court assignments
- Opponents
No need to scan the whole schedule line by line. 🏓
What is a player call, and how do I avoid a forfeit?
Teams are called approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled match.
When you hear your name or team called, head to your assigned court right away and get ready. This advance player call is also your preparation and grace period.
If a team isn't on court at the scheduled start time, the match is subject to forfeit.
Please stay alert, keep track of your schedule, and bring plenty of water.
How is each game's score tracked and reported?
There's an official game log sheet at every court.
Before the match starts:
- Check the correct team names and matchup.
- Players from both teams need to sign the log sheet.
After the match:
- Write down the final score right away.
- Double-check the winning team and final score.
- Both teams need to sign or confirm the recorded result.
No need to go to the Scorers' Table after every game. The scores written and confirmed on the court log sheet are what count toward the official standings.
Why can't I drop down to Beginner?
Choose the level that's honestly you. Once you've competed in Mixed Intermediate, you stay at Intermediate — you can't drop back down to Beginner in a later season.
Beginner is our safe space for first-timers — to keep it fun and fair for everyone. When an experienced player drops into Beginner, it takes the fun away from those who are just starting out. 💙
